Problem child

We tried a new form maker for the booking this year, because it had these lovely function, only it’s being a MAJOR PROBLEM CHILD!

Thank you to everyone who have spent hours with us trying to get it to work, we so appreciate your time, because if you are having a problem, you can guarantee someone else is too! So it helps more than just you when you tell us about it - thanks again!

We have now put in an alternative option to book - same form but just off site. You don’t have to be a Jotform member to fill it in - it should simply come up as its own page in a new tab on your computer.

So this is your link to the off site Booking Form below…

Or if you want to copy and past this link into your browser:

On a more positive note - the editors and agents appointments are flying off the shelf with some editors already 50% booked out, so get in quick if you want one of these.

Hope you are all working on your competition entries, the end of April might seem far away but it will be here in a flash. Don’t leave it till the last moment - get your entry in!

Booking 2015 Now Open

BECKET 10years fireworks

We are so excited to open bookings today for our 10th anniversary CYA Conference to be held on 4th July 2015.

With amazing presenters: Ben Long, Jacqui Honeywood, Kaz Delany, Meredith Costain, Morris Gleitzmen, Paul Collins, and Sarah Davis, and editors on site Karen Tayleur, Katrina Lehman, Lisa Berryman, Maryann Ballantyne, Rochelle Manners, Agents Alex Adsett, Jacinta di Mase and Tara Wynne, and industry professionals Vanilla Web designs and Tadaa Children’s Book Smiths, you are sure to find enough professional development for the day…

We are once again holding a networking dinner on the night of 3rd July where most of the presenters and onsite professional will be joining us. We will recommend this wonderful food cooked by the catering TAFE students to everyone!

If you are a regular, you will notice a small change in the set out of the afternoon with only Morris Gleitzman presenting. When he last joined us, the classes in competition to his were almost empty. So this year we have made an executive decision for everyone to attend this Extended Master Class. Believe us, both writers and illustrators alike will benefit from this class. And then there was the small fact that we needed to ask Morris to present a longer class this year too, as previously the attendees in his class (and Morris) just didn’t want the class to finish … and we thought that no one would ever go home!

So we hope you will join us in our celebration conference at: Southbank Institute of Technology (TAFE), 66 Ernest Street, South Brisbane.(Block H)

See ya at CYA!

Tina, Sam, Ally, Deb, Nats and the whole CYA Conference team!
