Day 1:10th September 2011:  Adults

Day 2: 11th September 2011: Hatchlings ( for 8 - 18 year olds.)

Please see the relevant pages for the forms, and the payments page if you are using the PayPal option to pay.

We are getting so excited as the program comes together and can’t wait to let you know who is coming and will be conducting the workshops and master classes, and who the editors onsite will be.

CYA is celebrating another book baby - Congratulations to Robyn Osborne who was a CYA competition winner in 2009, and is celebrating her success of: Dog Logic – a pooch’s guide to dogs behaving badly being published by Big Sky, Sydney.

If you are a CYA success, and are not on our page, please let us know, we love having everyone up there so that we have a record of how CYA is actually achieving one of its missions: helping people on their road to publication.

Do remember to keep your writing and illustrating entries coming in before the due date. All sections of the CYA competitions, published, unpublished and Hatchlings close on 30th June 2011.

Hatchlings Writing & illustrating Competition Opens

16 April 2011

CYA Conference Hatchlings Competition 2011 is now open!

We are so excited to add this new competition age group into the already successful CYA group of competitions, that continues to go from strength to strength, with more and more people being published who have come through the CYA System.

Remember to use the electronic entry forms found on the Hatchlings page: Hatchlings Competition

If you need any help with anything, please don’t hesitate to email CYA COnference, as this conference was designed to help people on their road to publication.

So, get your entries in by 30th June, and GOOD LUCK!

Please do consider a donation to help CYA to support the Mother Africa Organisation, in Zimbabwe. We will hopefully be enhancing their already established education program with a long term literacy and numeracy program. Monetary donations are voluntary to this cause (and appreciated), as are the donation of books (new and pre-loved in good condition) we will be collecting at CYA Conference and Hatchlings. Personal inscriptions into the donated books would be appreciated.

A few other updates on the site - a couple of book pictures and another CYA Success story up in the pages. Well done to Matt Porter!!! We are so proud if you and can’t wait to read that funny story in book format!
