Dee's long association with CYA began as a competition finalist at the inaugural conference with Letters to Leonardo, which was subsequently published by Walker Books in 2009.
She is now the author of 18 books, and numerous other pieces for children and young adults. Writing is her passion, and she travels all over the world to explore new stories, develop her craft and meet amazing people.
In 2017 Dee spent a month in Paris researching and writing her middle grade novel, Beyond Belief, to be published by Scholastic Australia in 2020.
She has completed the SCBWI Nevada mentor program in the USA and presented at the 2015 SCBWI Europolitan Conference in Amsterdam and the 2018 Sharjah International Book Fair.
She has a Diploma in Professional Writing and Editing from Victoria University and runs actual and virtual classes and workshops for writers of all ages from all over the world. She loves mentoring new and emerging writers and helping them to publication.
Agent & Editor sessions are only available to conference attendees.
Some editors have withdrawn from the conference due to it being an online-only event.

You may book your session before booking for the conference however there will be a $25.00 administration charge should you decide to cancel the appointment before assessment bookings closing on 15 May 2020
No refunds will be made if you make an assessment booking but do not book for the Conference and your session will be cancelled.
