Izzy Yates is a Commissioning Editor at Penguin Random House Australia. Her areas of interest are health and wellbeing, personal development, lifestyle and cookery – she is always on the lookout for emerging trends and inspiring books with a valuable application to real life, and her authors include chef Tobie Puttock, longevity expert Professor Valter Longo and Japanese self-help guru Ken Honda. Born in Sydney, Izzy grew up in the UK where she worked at Penguin Random House in London before relocating back to Australia in 2016.
Izzy will be looking at adult & adult non-fiction works
including personal development/self-help, health and lifestyle, mind, body, spirit, popular psychology, food and drink, society and culture, home and garden, careers/business, ideas-based non-fiction, & family and relationships/parenting.
Izzy is not looking at history, politics, sport, memoirs, or fiction.
She will be providing verbal feedback with her assessments
Izzy will be running bootcamps for two groups of adult non-fiction writers.
Agent & Editor sessions are only available to conference attendees.
Some editors have withdrawn from the conference due to it being an online-only event.

You may book your session before booking for the conference however there will be a $25.00 administration charge should you decide to cancel the appointment before assessment bookings closing on 15 May 2020
No refunds will be made if you make an assessment booking but do not book for the Conference and your session will be cancelled.
