Samantha Sainsbury is a freelance editor and publishing consultant with fifteen years experience in the book industry. She was Managing Editor at Penguin Random House and Senior Editor at Pan Macmillan Australia. She has edited a raft of best-selling and critically acclaimed books and worked with top-tier authors such as Liane Moriarty, Di Morrissey, Mia Freedman, Paul Roos, Prof. Kerryn Phelps, David Gillespie, Sarah Wilson and Andy Griffiths & Terry Denton. As a freelancer, she works with some of Australia's biggest publishing houses including Pan Macmillan, Allen and Unwin, Hardie Grant, Hachette and HarperCollins; self-publishing companies such as Independent Ink and Critical Mass Consulting; and aspiring, independent and self-publishing authors. She has a Graduate Diploma of Editing and Publishing from RMIT and Bachelor of Arts (Media and Communication) from Melbourne University.

Commercial fiction: women's fic, thrillers, historical fiction, sci-fi, fantasy, spec fic, dystopian.
Commercial non-fiction: memoir, health, business, sport, military, historical non-fiction.
Samantha will be providing written feedback with her assessments

Some editors have withdrawn from the conference due to it being an online-only event.

You may book your session before booking for the conference however there will be a $25.00 administration charge should you decide to cancel the appointment before assessment bookings closing on 15 May 2020
No refunds will be made if you make an assessment booking but do not book for the Conference and your session will be cancelled.
