Sophie Hamley has worked as a bookseller, editor, writer, content producer and web producer. She was a literary agent at Cameron’s Management from 2006 until 2014; she is a past President of the Australian Literary Agents’ Association and was also a member of the Book Industry Collaborative Council.
She is now a non-fiction publisher at Hachette Australia, where she also coordinates the Hachette Mentoring Programme with several writers centres around Australia and in New Zealand.
Sophie will be looking at all aspects of Fiction, Memoirs, Australian history including military, Women's history, True stories, Australiana, Current affairs, True crime, Science, Health, Mind body spirit, Parenting, Humour, and Gardening. Sophie is not looking for Cookery books.
Sophie will be providing verbal feedback with her assessments
Agent & Editor sessions are only available to conference attendees.
Some editors have withdrawn from the conference due to it being an online-only event.

You may book your session before booking for the conference however there will be a $25.00 administration charge should you decide to cancel the appointment before assessment bookings closing on 15 May 2020
No refunds will be made if you make an assessment booking but do not book for the Conference and your session will be cancelled.
