Tom Bailey-Smith is a senior editor at Allen & Unwin and was previously an editor at Hachette Australia, as well as having a stint at Zeitgeist Media Group literary agency while completing postgraduate studies in editing and publishing.
Tom has worked across the fiction, nonfiction, lifestyle, children’s and academic spheres, with authors such as Mark Brandi, Rod Laver, Gabbie Stroud, Samantha Armytage, Madonna King, David Leser, Jane Gleeson-White, Libby Trickett, Todd Carney, Roland Perry, Professor Ron McCallum, Rohan Wilson, Nakkiah Lui, Michael Veitch, A.L. Tait, Troy Cassar-Daley, Jennifer Cossins and Alex Miller.
Tom is assessing Biography, history, sport, crime, speculative fiction, literary fiction, thriller, current affairs...almost anything for adult readers.
Tom will be providing written and verbal feedback with his assessments
Agent & Editor sessions are only available to conference attendees.
Some editors have withdrawn from the conference due to it being an online-only event.
If you have booked with one of them we will be in contact with you shortly.
You do need to be attending the conference to book an assessment.
You may book your session before booking for the conference however there will be a $25.00 administration charge should you decide to cancel the appointment before assessment bookings closing on 15 May 2020
No refunds will be made if you make an assessment booking but do not book for the Conference and your session will be cancelled.
