Katrina Germein is a best-selling picture book author, published worldwide. She has written twenty books in twenty years and her first non-fiction title is due for release soon. Katrina’s popular story, My Dad Thinks He’s Funny, was Highly Commended in the Prime Minister’s Literary Awards and became the first book in the highly successful ‘My Dad’ series. In 2019 Katrina received a Speech Pathology Book of the Year Award, and many of her titles are CBCA Notable Books. Katrina is an ambassador for Raising Literacy Australia and the Premier’s Reading Challenge. Her recent work includes Before You Were Born, illustrated by Helene Magisson and published by HarperCollins Australia.
