Refund and Cancellation policy

Conference: 

• CYA will refund conference costs, less administration fees of $40.00 if notice of cancellation is received in writing before 1st June.

• A 50% refund, less $40.00 administration fee, will apply if cancellation is received in writing before 21st June, and

• A 25% refund, less $40.00 administration fee, if received before 30th June.  

• No refunds will be considered for cancellation notices received by CYA after 30 June. (Extenuating circumstances are reviewed on an individual basis.)

Assessments

• There is a 10% cancellation fee on any bookings made after 03 May.

• No refunds will be made for assessments booked after 15 May. 

• No refunds on Agent/Editor assessments once work has gone to the industry professional.

• No refunds will be made if you make an assessment booking but do not book for the Conference and your session will be cancelled.

Bootcamps

• There is a 10% cancellation fee on any bookings made after 03 May.

• No refunds will be made for assessments booked after 22 May. 

• No refunds on Agent/Editor assessments once work has gone to the industry professional.

Photography, Video & Sound Permission

Recordings, photographs and screenshots will be in taken during the CYA Conference. The purchase of a ticket implies permission to use these on social media, for marketing purposes, and archival footage.

Video Catchup

While CYA video catchup is available for a week after the workshops, CYA will not be held responsible for any electronic malfunctions, quality issues, etc resulting in poor quality playback or sessions not being available.

Other Important Information for the Conference

• You need to be attending the conference or a bootcamp to book an assessment. 

• You DO NOT need to be attending the conference to do a bootcamp.

• Saturday 6th July is IN-PERSON and live streamed.
