JE Miller

Writing for all ages, J.E. Miller creates characters you'll love. Inspired by childhood favourites, fables, folk tales, and myths across cultures, J.E. Miller writes for contemporary social relevance.

Julie is traditionally published with Hawkeye Publishing, received an international DaVinci Eye award, and is an experienced public speaker and educator, she delivers certified training for Queensland Fire and Emergency Services and is regularly invited to speak at Anzac and Remembrance Day services Australia-wide.

Raised an army brat, J.E. Miller was a Navy cadet in her teens, and is extremely proud of her family’s history of service.

For 13 years she has served in the SES, working closely with police, fire, and ambulance, and has received several notary awards, including a National Emergency Medal for significant service. Her psychology master’s thesis examined resilience programs in the defence and domestic services, and she developed a standardised assessment for JAG which was rolled out across the country.

Dr Brendan Nelson AO, former director of the Australian War Memorial gave a rave review of her illustrated book, Remember, Lest We Forget, while Queensland Police Commissioner Katarina Carroll is the ambassador for Remember, Triple Zero Heroes.
