Rowena Beresford Bootcamp

Rowena Beresford is the Managing Editor of Riveted Press, working closely with new and emerging authors as a writing coach and editor.

She has more than twenty years’ experience in fiction, magazine and educational publishing, and has ghost written and co-authored a number of successful autobiographical, narrative non-fiction and self-help books. Rowena is also a qualified graphic designer experienced in marketing, typesetting, book and cover design.

Rowena acquired, edited and published CBCA award-winning title Aster’s Good, Right Things by Kate Gordon, and has had titles longlisted and/or shortlisted in a variety of awards including The Tasmanian Literary Awards, The Speech Pathology Australia Book of the Year Awards, and the DANZ Awards (Diversity in Australia and New Zealand). Indigo in the Storm won The Australian Family Therapists Award for Children’s Literature (2024) and My Brother, Finch was recently longlisted in the Young Adult Indie Book Awards 2025.

Riveted Press is proud to be the publisher of unforgettable books by Australian authors and illustrators—many of which have featured in award lists—and our latest news is that we're expanding into young adult and adult fiction!

Our tagline is 'Where unforgettable stories are forged', and that epitomises what we are looking for. We publish almost any genre, but what is most important is that your manuscript has the potential to become unforgettable, and we can work together to bring that potential to life.

Riveted Press only accepts submissions via editorial meetings at CYA and a few other select events, so this is an excellent opportunity to show us your work.
