Picture Bootcamps with Eve Tonelli

Missed out on a bootcamp with Lisa Berryman from HarperCollins?

We're thrilled to announce that Eve Tonelli, also from HarperCollins, will be joining the in-person bootcamps and will be running two picture book sessions on the 7th of July.

Eve Tonelli has been in publishing for over fifteen years, following a career as an interpreter, which ignited her passion for language. She has worked broadly across the industry, editing both non-fiction and fiction in educational, commercial and literary fields. After five years at Scholastic, during which she participated in the APA Residential Editorial Program, she has spent the last four years as a Senior Children’s Editor at HarperCollins. In 2018, Eve attended the prestigious Leadership Strategies in Book Publishing course at Yale University.

Eve has worked closely with countless Australian authors and illustrators including Jackie French, Emily Rodda, Graeme Base, Andrew Daddo, the May Gibbs estate, James Moloney, Jen Storer, Mitch Vane, Gabrielle Tozer, Michael Wagner, Amie Kaufman, Beck Feiner, Tania McCartney, Eliza Henry Jones, Emma Quay, Sheryl Gwyther, Rebecca McRitchie, Jonathan Bentley, Matt Shanks, Anne Spudvilas, Sara Acton and Andy Joyner. She was also editor for both the poetry anthology A Boat of Stars, and Begin, End, Begin, a #LoveOzYA anthology, which showcased the talents of many authors and illustrators.
