Dani Vee - Editor Assessments
Dani's debut picture book 'My EXTRAordinary Mum', her new series My EPIC Dad and a short story in a crime fiction anthology is coming soon!
 
Dani Vee is also host of the popular literary podcast Words and Nerds. With over 35,000 listeners every month and more than 400 episodes, the podcast has become a significant part of the Australian literary community. She has interviewed Matthew Reilly, Trent Dalton, Jackie French, Tara Moss, Andy Griffiths and many more. 
 
You can also find her facilitating panels at literary festivals such as BAD Sydney Crime Writers Festival and The Sutherland Shire Writers' Festival, as well as podcasting at literary events. She has judged picture book awards, Ned Kelly Awards and Ngaio Marsh Awards. 
 
Dani works in Publicity and Acquisitions at Larrikin House.  
 
Larrikin House is looking for quirky, funny voices that challenge stereotypes and push boundaries. We are looking for picture books, junior fiction, middle grade, YA and adult commercial fiction.
 
They are not looking for didactic stories or picture books for very young children.

    Please note that payment plans aren’t available for early-bird tickets, and each attendee may have one payment plan.

Assessment sessions important information

    • In-person assessments are only available to in-person attendees, unless by prior arrangement.
    • They are available only to conference, bootcamp, and Writers at Sea Retreat attendees.
    • May be booked before the conference, but you must book for the conference by 15 May; otherwise, your session will be cancelled and not refunded.
    • A $25.00 administration charge applies if you cancel before 15 May.
    • They are non-refundable if cancelled after 15 May, unless we can resell the session.
