Meg Whelan - Editor Assessments
Meg Whelan is a senior editor on the children’s book team at Affirm Press and was previously the children’s book buyer at the Hill of Content Bookshop in Melbourne. She was shortlisted for the 2021 Rising Star ABIA and has worked on award-winning titles like The Grandest Bookshop in the World
 
Meg is looking for action-packed middle grade and romantic YA novels with rich characters, engaging plots and exciting hooks. All genres welcome! She is also looking for graphic novels and interesting non- fiction for kids of all ages.
 
Meg is not looking at picture books or junior fiction at this time.

    Assessment sessions:

    • are only available to conference attendees.
    • may be booked before booking for the conference, but you must book for the conference by 15 May 2024, or your session will be cancelled and not refunded.
    • have a $25.00 administration charge should you decide to cancel before 15 May 2024.
    • are non-refundable if cancelled after 15 May 2024 unless we are able to resell the session.
