With CYA now going totally online for 2020, there’s been a lot of rearranging and re-costing that has taken no small amount of time to do so, thank you to everyone for being so patient.
So, what does the 2020 conference look like? Well, rather than run three streams a day over one weekend, we’ve decided to run one stream a day over three weekends, which means you won’t need to choose between sessions! And on top of that, it’s cheaper, so hopefully, that will go some way to compensate for the loss of the social side.
Assessments & Bootcamps
Several of the assessment sessions and bootcamps have already sold out, with others almost full, so we’re super excited to announce that some of the editors and agent have added addition appointments. Most of the sessions are on 4 and 5 July so that you won’t need to be dropping out of classes to attend them. There are also some additional sessions being added on 12, 19, 25 & 26 July.
Please remember that assessments are only available to conference attendees and you need to book your conference before you submit your work. You do not need to book for the conference to attend the bootcamps.
“But what if I want to book a bootcamp AND an assessment?” we hear you ask. We’re going to schedule the assessments before and after the bootcamp, lunch times, or during the write-in times.
With still nine weeks to go, you can still book for conference, assessments or bootcamps using a payment plan. Just use the code FORT or WEEK when you pay the deposit and we’ll take it from there.
We will be increasing the frequency of the Newsletter from now until Conference, and we hope that you’ll still stick with us. There is so much news to get out there, and we have found that social media is good, but a personal note from our computer to yours , works so much better.
